On 15th July the Reporter, Sue Bell, published her decision on the Planning Appeal submitted by Noah and the Bowling Club, dismissing the Appeal and refusing planning permission.

This important ruling supports our assertion that the Club did not engage in meaningful community consultation for the use of the site. Furthermore it confirms what many have commented about the scale and design of the proposed development - that it was not in keeping with the surrounding area, out of proportion and unsympathetic to the setting.
The community must now wait to learn how the Bowling Club and Noah will respond.
