We are pleased to let you know that the Court of Session has granted permission for the judicial review to proceed. This is an important procedural milestone and means the Court is satisfied that the case should move forward to a full hearing.
The next stage is the Trust’s application for a Protective Expenses Order (PEO). A PEO is an order which, if granted, limits the Trust’s potential liability for Glasgow City Council’s legal expenses, helping to ensure that community groups can pursue environmental cases without facing prohibitive financial risk. We are currently awaiting the Court’s decision on that application.
We remain incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported the Trust through donations and messages of encouragement. Your support has enabled us to reach this stage.
The litigation is continuing, and there are still costs to be met as the case progresses. If you are able to support the Trust’s work, any further donations are greatly appreciated. You can donate at our Crowdjustice site or through our direct members contributions link.
We’ll continue to keep supporters updated as the case moves forward.
Thank you once again for your continued support.
